Staybridge Suites Midland

We always stay in Midland, and we have our fave hotel, but some of our friends talked us into staying at Staybridge Suites. We check into our hotel and went to have supper. When we came back someone was already in our room. We went down to the receptionist and she went up to the room to get the person to open the door and of course they would not open the door. We got moved to another room. I’m so glad we did not put our stuff in there before we left. Our new room was not the same size as our original room. Our bedroom did not have a shower head that was working properly instead, we used a removable handheld hose. The room was clean. AC worked well. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Plenty of delicious choices.

Assistant manager is not much of a leader, and left her team very short handed! Overall aFailure as a person ! We also didn't get to check in until after 6pm.

Checked in 1.5 hours after check in and room wasn’t ready. When it was ready, we got to room and housekeeping was still in there. The room was dirty. Hair in one bed, gum stuck to a bad. Towels seemed not clean. Overall the room was not clean. Pics make it look better than it is.

There was so many kids running around ding dong ditching in the middle of the night and staff was not helpful. Room was at 83 degrees all night and they couldn’t switch us to another room or help out with this issue!!!

Elevator broken made for longer wait. i was overcharged $198.

Bed comfy and breakfast good but staff was horrible

It smells terrible and the bathrooms are not clean

Pros: heated pool & hot tub. Rooms are decent, free breakfast, decent gym, & nice fire outside. Cons: they double charged us for each day we were here and claimed it is a normal hold. It’s not normal, and now we have to dispute 100s of dollars in charges. (Around $450 to be exact). So if this is “normal” be prepared to have them take tons of money from your account as a “hold” on top of charging you for the room! We were provided with 2 towels then told they do not offer cleaning service on the weekend. So we had to remove our trash and constantly go get towels from the front desk. If it wasn’t for the charges and now having to dispute all of this mess, I would have recommended this place.
